Mike Durtnall [mikedurtnall@hotmail.com] is conducting a one surname study on Dartnall
The Cheesman connection comes from Jacob's sister Elizabeth, who married Henry Cheesman at Chatham on 25 August 1800.
Jacob had a first wife, Mary Maddocks, although I have not established the exact date and place. They married by Licence from the Faculty Office though, dated 29 November 1817. Dulcibella Mary, Caroline and Mary were their three children, Jacob's wife Mary died 22 July 1835 and was buried at East Peckham on 25 July 1835. As you know, Jacob then married again to Mary Susannah Featherstone.
Dulcibella Mary married Stephen Henry Green at Seal, 16 March 1837.
Caroline married John Richardson at St George's, Gravesend, 21 November 1838. She died on 28 February 1840, two months before her father Jacob, and was buried at East Peckham on 5 March 1840.
I have no record of a marriage for Jacob's daughter Mary.
The death dates were taken from the monumental inscriptions at East Peckham.6
