I am researching Lucks of East Peckham and on the tomb of my gt gt gt grandfather Oliver Luck in St Michaels churchyard in East Peckham I found the following inscription. On the right hand side "ERECTED TO THE MEMORY OF Jane Featherstone, WIDOW OF THE LATE John Featherstone, DAUGHTER OF John & Francis Martyr OF THIS Parish, WHO DIED February 11TH 1818 AGED 84"
There are also other inscriptions. I believe John Martyr was the brother of Olivers wife Mercy Martyr. I have found quite a few Featherstone Lucks in Brenchley in the 1800's.
Hope this may be of interest to you

"We went to Kent on Sunday. It took ages to find the remote St. Michael's church in E. Peckham, but once we found it the tomb was easy to spot as it was the biggest there! I'm afraid that Kay Goodacre was mistaken as the grave is for Oliver Luck, son of Oliver and Mercy Luck. Here's the inscription:-

"In Affectionate remembrance of Oliver Luck, who died November 13th 1848, age 72"

"Also Elizabeth, wife of Oliver Luck who died June 13th 1849 age 61"

"Erected to the memory of Jane Featherstone, widow of the late John Featherstone , daughter of John and Frances Martyr of this parish who died February 11th 1818 age 84"
"Erected to the memory of John Martyr son of John and Frances Martyr of this parish who died October 23rd 1822 age 87"

Next to this tomb was another, "Thomas Martyr d. August 19th aged 38. Wife Margeret d. July 20th 1831"

A very old one next to that read, "George Featherstone died July 27th 1737 aged 59 also wife Mary who died 177? Aged ?" "

this is interesting. It refers to an Arnold St Ledger of Hollingbourne in Kent born in 1375.

He was Lord of Featherstone and of Stanford.

And we have Featherstones in Hollingbourne. Must have a think as to what use to make of this information.

Notes for Arnold St. Leger
Inherited all the lands of his father and his senior cousin Thomas around 1410 In 1407 he nominated the church at Hollingbourne as a parish church. The name of his wife is not known and he left only one son John. He was also Lord of Featherstone/Stanford and Elnotingen. Became Lord of Ulcombe and therefore head of the 2nd line.
