Yes, I am in Africa. I was born in Cape Town in 1937.
I am in the process of following your instructions and completing the info. form attached to the web site. I will see if there is any way to verify the names of Walter. I have a note saying he lived at Teddington on Thames if that means anything.
Regards,
Edward.

Dear Mr. Featherstone, My interest in the name stems from my maternal grandfather, Walter Edward Featherstone, son of Walter Featherstone and Elizabeth Anne (Hollingham) who was born in Torquay in 1867. WEF married Catherine Christina Moan and they had two daughters. My mother and my aunt. Walter and Catherine were evidently committed to the Salvation Army. They immigrated to Southern Rhodesia (Zimbabwe) in the early 1900's. I don't have much more info. but wonder if they are recorded?

Regards, Edward Featherstone Twiggs.
