  11. [S2362] Gary Inch, "Gary Inch," e-mail to W. Paul Featherstone, 2016, Hi Paul,
Thanks for your email, I’ve been meaning to put Letitia’s story together for years. When I became aware of your website It really made me keen to send you as much information as I could find. My grandmother, Alice Maud Horsfield nee Shipton was Letitia’s daughter and had always regretted having never known the mother who had died soon after her birth. I feel I would very much like to add to the Featherstone story.
I really appreciate your mention of an update to the Featherstone database – my grandmother would have loved it. She used to correspond with members of the family in the UK but lost contact during the blitz and never managed to make contact again.
I hope the format for the information I’m sending is ok. I’ve prepared a word document containing all I can find at the moment. (attached) It contains extracts from official records, including Births, Deaths and Marriages as well as some material from the National Library of Australia. Bearing in mind the period I was looking at spans the period when the separate Australian colonies federated to become states of the then brand new Australia in 1901 it all seems to have come together pretty well. I’ve also included some of my memories of Letitia’s daughters stories to me many years ago. I turned 70 in August and I’ve just come out of hospital (all ok now) so I thought it was about time to do something about all of this…….

If there’s anything more you need please let me know. I really appreciate your interest and help in this…….
