  • William Featherstone+ b. 7 Nov 1843, d. Mar 1901; We think that this is the Mary Ann Featherstone who was a servant at Fish pond farm, and gave birth to an Illegitimate son, William Featherstone in November 1843. I believe the Father to be John Clarke as in the St Peters Christening certificate, he is down as William Featherstone Clarke. At his marriage to Hannah Atkin on March 12,1865 at St Peters Church his full name is given as John William Featherstone Clarke, 22 years old and a Butcher by trade and his father is John Clarke. Whether John Clarke and Mary Ann Featherstone did get married is unknown as yet.
