Defendant came in and pointed to a piece of steak in the kitchen, saying it was her steak I said it was not. He replied you rotten dirty whore, I had child in arms, he was about to strike me and I crouched. Mother came down stairs and screamed. He then went outside the door. He claimed the steak.

    Edward William Hawke-Harvey, 4th Baron Hawke of Towton was born on 15 July 1799.1 He was the son of Edward Hawke-Harvey, 3rd Baron Hawke of Towton and Frances Anne Harvey.1,2 He married, firstly, Elizabeth Frances Ramsden, daughter of Sir John Ramsden, 4th Bt. and Hon. Louisa Susan Ingram-Shepheard, on 1 August 1821.2 He married, secondly, Frances Fetherstonhaugh, daughter of Walker Fetherstonhaugh, on 16 April 1848.2 He died on 8 January 1869 at age 69.2
    He succeeded to the title of 4th Baron Hawke of Towton, co. York [G.B., 1776] on 29 November 1824.2.

    Frances Fetherstonhaugh was the daughter of Walker Fetherstonhaugh.1 She married Edward William Hawke-Harvey, 4th Baron Hawke of Towton, son of Edward Hawke-Harvey, 3rd Baron Hawke of Towton and Frances Anne Harvey, on 16 April 1848.1 She died on 29 June 1903.1
    As a result of her marriage, Frances Fetherstonhaugh was styled as Baroness Hawke of Towton on 16 April 1848. From 16 April 1848, her married name became Hawke-Harvey.1.
