Ann Walton Featherstonhaugh
Birth 1 Dec 1851 in Witton Gilbert, Durham, England

STORY
In her early 20's Annie Featherstonhaugh was working as a servant in the 1870's for Ann and Benjamin Ord (a retired solicitor) in Cumbria had a child Mary Maria Feathersonhaugh, in 1874. To what I believe to be her employers son Benjamin. Annie went on to work as a dressmaker at the age of 30, leaving her daugher behind with the Ords in Tynemouth. Ann Ord was in her 70's at this time and her son Benjamin (the father?) was married. Annie must have gone back for her daugher after 1881 when she was married to Thomas Pallister, as they lived together in Lanchester.
